Essential Sauna Wood Oil is the only sauna maintenance product available that can actually renew an older sauna. This aromatic, penetrating oil treatment is non-toxic and smells good (forest rain essential oil). When used on a new sauna, it will protect the wood and insure against the discoloration caused by sweat and water. It contains teatree oil, which has antimicrobial properties that help eliminate the toxins expeled from the body during sauna bathing. The product will preserve and enhance the full, rich color of the wood in your sauna.

Application

1. Can be applied with a brush or a soft cloth. The wood needs to be dry, clean and slightly warm (100??ᬨ¬®?F.)
2. After applying the oil, heat your sauna 160??ᬨ¬®?F to 180??ᬨ¬®?F for about 1??ᬨ¬®? to 2 hours
3. Allow to cool prior to reheating for use.

Notes

• Application rates will vary with texture, porosity and method of application. If the sauna is old and has never been treated, two treatments may be necessary.
• Over lapping during application will NOT cause lap lines
• Applications can be made as often as every 2 weeks or as little as 2 to 3 times per year.
• High traffic commercial saunas will benefit from use 2x/month. Personal saunas may only require occasional treatments.
