The frame is made of stainless steel and this is covered with high quality unfinished western red cedar.The cedar is a stable wood, there are expansion joints to allow for expansion and contraction. The wood cover is what keeps the assembly cool. There are pre-drilled holes on the side flanges for mounting to the tiled wall. We provide stainless screws and nylon anchors. These are inserted in holes that need to be drilled. Ceramic or diamond tipped drill bits for drilling into the tile must be provided by the customer. We recomend that silicon sealer be injected into the holes to fully seal the penetrations.
