Freestanding Cedar Benches

Our signature "Pedestal Benches" have no visible fasteners and come in three pre-assembled pieces. Some simple assembly required.

A cedar bench design that's sturdy and long lasting. These are constructed using a super select grade of cedar which does allow for occasional dime size tight knots.

Western red cedar bench is ideal for outdoor and all wet applications

The bench top and leg assemblies are pre-built. We use 1 1/2" thick western red cedar throughout. This indoor / outdoor cedar bench is easy to assemble. Pre-built cedar benches range from 18" long - 72" long, 18" high.

Place in the Sauna, Steam room, Spa area, or in your Outdoor Living Area or patio. Leave them untreated and enjoy the pleasant cedar aroma, or you can apply on outdoor stain/sealer product of your choice. We recomend Sunfrog sealer. Steamroom application: These benches work great in the steam room however they need to be sealed with multiple coats of polyurathane. Without the clear coating of polyurathane the benches will always be wet and bleed tanins onto the tile work which will stain the grout. We recomend that customers seal all the surfaces of the pre-built bench tops legs and cross pieces first, then assemble the benches and seal two to three more times for best results. The several coats of clear polyurethane greatly increases cleanability and hygiene in shower or steam room conditions.
