Polar SC-9 Sauna Heater Control Panel

Works like an oven timer — it counts down to red zone, comes on for one hour then expires

Control with 9+1 timer (9 hour delay with 1 hour operating timer)

Requires separate contact box. For use in commercial saunas when attendant is on duty. For use with the Polar HNVR series and the LA series heaters.

If these are located far away from the sauna, there can be no more the 50 ft of wire and the 18 AGW wire that runs from the sensor can have no splices and must be in conduit.

Requires appropriate contactor: Polar 2510 Contactor for single phase SC controls OR Polar 2515 Contactor for 3 phase PSC controls.

Works like an oven timer. So if you want your sauna to start in 2 hours, you'd set the timer to 3 o'clock, and then at 1 o'clock (the red zone) it comes on and expires in one hour. Thus, the heater comes on for one hour subject to the temperature setting, of course.
